The Cie Synergie was created in 2017 in the city of Meyrin, by the choreographer Cédric Gagneur.
Cédric, born in 1993 in Switzerland, began breakdancing in 2008 and went on with a Hip Hop dancer-creator training. He then became interested in contemporary and classical dance and entered the Geneva Junior Ballet for two years where he danced a varied repertoire. Since 2013, Cédric has worked as a dancer for the cie Tenseï of RafaelSmadja, with which he danced three duets.
In 2016, he created his first solo Labyrinthum. Cédric has just completed his training in the new Bachelor in Contemporary Dance directed by Thomas Hauert at La Manufacture de Lausanne. He has just created the Cie Synergie in Switzerland in order to cooperate and create performances with other artists.
Cie Synergie is touring three projects : Labyrinthum, Krolok with Alex Landa-Aguirreche, Maryfé Singy and Sarah Bucher and Palette(s) with Marc Oosterhoff. The company will also have two creations this season: SHEOL in cocreation with the cie Tenseï of Rafael Smadja which had the premiere on February 2018 at CDC Les Hivernales in Avignon and the new piece 116th dream, a duet with Evita Pitara and Bruno Dias.
