Horizons is an evening that explores the human journey through time, capturing our transformations, evolutions and rediscoveries of ourselves. Sasha Riva and Simone Repele sketch a poetic landscape where movement becomes a means of reflecting on identity, relationships, memory and the quiet thresholds that mark our lives. The performance unfolds as a fluid meditation on growth, connection, loss and renewal. Through their singular choreographic language, the artists invite the audience to look beyond the visible and perceive the emotional currents that carry us forward.

Bio

Riva & Repele Balletto is an artistic association founded by Simone Repele and Sasha Riva in Geneva in 2020. Very quickly, they felt the need to express themselves in an original and creative way by collaborating together. Sasha and Simone's choreographic works are rooted in a strong, sensitive and poetic theatrical aspect; stylized images are bound together by a neoclassical, contemporary vocabulary and powerful gestures. In Italy they collaborate with the dance agency Daniele Cipriani Entertainment. Defined as the « Poets of Dance », they presented their first full-length ballet « Lili Elbe Show », performed in Switzerland, Spain and Italy in 2022/23. In 2021 they were the only foreign company selected by Centro Coreográfico Canal in Madrid, and were programmed by the Festival Madrid en Danza. In 2023 they did a residency at Orsolina 28 to create « Dear Son, ». They presented « La Jeune Fille et Les Morts » at the Noverre Gesellschaft 2022, the choreographic platform of the Stuttgart Ballet, which included their choreography in its repertoire for 2024/2025. Since 2022 they collaborate with director Damiano Michieletto, creating Bernstein's opera « Mass » for the Rome Opera. Their future projects include creations for the Ballet of Rome Opera, the Ballet of Teatro Massimo Palermo, the Stuttgart Ballet and the Augsburg Ballet.
