La Secousse – RESONANCE

RÉSONANCE reveals the many ways in which we perceive sound – and invites us to question our relationship to noise, silence, and resonance. This performance awakens our senses to the subtlety of vibrations, oscillations, and invisible resonances. In collaboration with Deaf artists, a poetic counter-world emerges in the heart of the city: a space open to everyone, regardless of how they hear.

Description

A vibrant, fantastical world where sound can be perceived through all the senses.

The screech of a tram, the splashing of a fountain, the chirping of birds – everyday noises become the elements of a living composition blending dance, painting, installation, and gestural choreography. Sound becomes visible, tangible, and perceptible in new ways.

In collaboration with Deaf artists, a poetic counter-world emerges in the heart of the city: a space open to everyone, regardless of how they hear. The audience is placed at the center of the action rediscovering site specifics in a new light. A place of collective life, diversity, and social experimentation is an ideal setting for the performance.

RÉSONANCE, by the mixed-abled collective La SECOUSSE, reveals the many ways in which we perceive sound – and invites us to question our relationship to noise, silence, and resonance. This performance awakens our senses to the subtlety of vibrations, oscillations, and invisible resonances.
