Description
Since his birth in 1995, Cilio Minella has been immersed in the world of Theater and Movement. He participates in and performs in choreographic theater, dance, and performance shows. He enjoys climbing trees, buildings, or other structures in urban spaces. He plays with and defies gravity through various acrobatics and vertical dance.
The pursuit of Movement aesthetics and Fine Arts is essential to his projects. Through these mediums, he connects with other human beings and their worlds. He explores socio-cultural exchange through transdisciplinary artistic forms. This exploration was exemplified by the project « The Golden Ramp, » an open exchange platform on the theme of inclusion during the « WildWuchs » festival in Basel (CH) in 2019. This experience gave rise to the project « The Museum of Fear, » a collection of stories about fears shared with other people. After numerous collective and individual projects, he joined the Schleuse collective.
He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Art and Cultural Mediation (2019) from the « Hochschule für Gestaltung » as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Post-industrial Design (2018) from the HyperWerk Institute in Basel (CH).
