Emmeliin Chemouny

Emmeliin Chemouny was born in Israel and spent most of her youth dancing at the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company School in Ga'aton, studying classical and modern (Graham) dance and the KCDC repertoire, while taking part in the Batsheva Dance Company student excellence program (Gaga, Ohad Naharin's technique). She continued her studies in dance at MUDA in Ghent (Belgium), then trained in contemporary dance at La Manufacture in Lausanne, focusing on improvisation and movement composition. Since graduating in 2021 she works as a dancer, performer, creator and choreographic assistant, collaborating with artists such as Géraldine Chollet, Marie Jeger, Nils Amadeus Lange, Teresa Vittucci and Milva Stutz. She is part of the collective hearhere, with whom she created the piece « on building a new park ».
