An interactive listening experience for everyone aged 8 and over.
The forest is always there. Compared to it, we are small and short-lived — it is vast and imposing, and it amazes us. In the forest, the trees are connected to one another via enormous underground networks, through which they communicate, feed each other and warn of danger. Through them, we understand how vital connection is. « Forest » is an immersive theater experience for ages 8 and up, designed as an interactive performance in which participants find themselves in the middle of a shared space. Wearing headphones, the audience experiences a multifaceted journey: interviews and the voices of various people alternate with narratives and playful experiential and quiz elements. The performance space, the « Forest Room », invites you to feel, discover, smell, and listen. Running time: 80 min · Language: German or French · Age: 8 and up.
Bio
Diana Rojas-Feile is a director, performer and author. Her transdisciplinary work ranges from site-specific pieces, interactive performances and installations to audio walks and radio plays. The core of her work is the multiperspectivity around a socio-political topic, created through documentary interviews mixed with a fictional thread. In her audio performances she creates a playful space for the audience to reflect on a social reality. Mandarina&Co is an open artists' platform she founded in 2008 to create transdisciplinary projects in different constellations.
