The company La SECOUSSE draws inspiration from the urban and rural landscapes it encounters along its journeys. The sound atmospheres inhabiting these spaces metamorphose into movements, rhythms, animated images, paintings and music. Performer-dancer Cilio Minella intertwines his practice with the research of drummer Jakob Warmenbol, performer Marine Comte and composer Matthieu Perrin, bringing their relationship to sound into action through multiple choreographic games, accompanied by danced sign language interventions. Paysages Sonores seeks to refine our sensory relationship with the vibrational qualities of sound, striving to make it visible through physical actions and a shifting scenography.

Bio

Since his birth in 1995, Cilio Minella has been immersed in the world of theatre and movement. He performs in choreographic theatre, dance and performance shows, and enjoys climbing trees, buildings or other structures in urban spaces, playing with and defying gravity through acrobatics and vertical dance. The pursuit of movement aesthetics and fine arts is essential to his projects; through these mediums he connects with other human beings and their worlds. He explores socio-cultural exchange through transdisciplinary artistic forms, exemplified by « The Golden Ramp », an open exchange platform on inclusion at the WildWuchs festival in Basel (2019), which gave rise to « The Museum of Fear ». After numerous collective and individual projects he joined the Schleuse collective. He holds a Bachelor's in Art and Cultural Mediation (2019) and in Post-industrial Design (2018) from HyperWerk, Basel.
